Return to topSnatchy throttle FZ1 - Derek in Hartlepool

Just to say thanks for all the effort you put into my bike.It now feels totally different with power increase throughout the rev range.

Return to topZRX 1100 - Terry Maxwell

Just to let you know the bike was much more responsive, it seems to pull all the way through the rev range and picks up better at the bottom end. Im realy pleased with the results and have already ordered the pilot jets.

Return to topSV 1000 - Brian Hill

Hi andy, the bike is running very well indeed, it rolls on in the higher gears lovely, and it seams to start better.Top job. i was looking on the sv forum and the yanks only get about 107 as well, the gsxr 1000 thermostat is on its way so that sould help.
Thanks again, brian.

Return to topYamaha FZ1 - John from Wiltshire

Since you worked your magic , the bike is flying and a number of other FZ1S owners have comfirmed the improvements. In particular Howard from MCN who has a Yamaha Press bike on loan for a year says it runs better than his. MCN paid for a full Akrapovic and Dyno tune from BDS(?) on his . It makes less at the rear wheel than mine.

Return to topBMW K1200R - Phil Ridgeway

A quick note to say many thanks for the work on the K1200R, the BMW
mechanic was very impressed and still grinning a long while after he
test rode it. But also a big thanks for the extras, getting parts
machined and wanting to make the bike perfect before it was returned to
me. As for the bike it is transformed not only by the extra power but
running smooth from low down all the way to the red line without a
glitch, perfect in town and the open road.

Return to topZZR1100 Kawasaki - John from Penrith

Since Andy re worked my Kawasaki ZZR1100 (D7) with Dyno-Magic,it made a great bike even better and far more responsive in the mid range power delivery. The power gains and torque increases are much improved throught the rev range. Suprisingly the mpg's increased. A brilliant job, by an engineer with a passion for bikes and performance. John.

Return to topBMW R1200ST - David from Penrith

I have a 2005 BMW1200ST, whilst it was good, I have had Andy fit a full s/steel Remus pipe and removed the Lambda sensors using a Rapid Bike 3 module. Its now excellent and the power and torque gains dramatic. The engine is far more responsive, especially the acceleration and mid range.

Return to topGSXR 1000 K6 - Tommy Docherty

After you remapped my bike it feels miles better than before, it pulls clean from low down and the acceleration is fantastic.
Excellent job and service!

Return to topZX9R - Dave from Lancaster

Job well done! I'm no longer struggling when cruising at low revs, it's as smooth as ever from idle all the way through to the redline. Was shocked with the price though.. thought it would have been a bit more, I aint complaining tho! And thanks once again for the temporary puncture repair, it managed to get me home and turned out to be a rivet!

Return to topGSXR 750 K7 - James Kerwick

Hello Andy
The bike is running great. Smooth all the way through the rev range. Much
better lower down, no snatching at all. I'm very happy with the results.
She it definately more lively now!

Return to topBMW 1150 GS Adventurer - Iain Corser

Andy,
Thanks for all your efforts yesterday, the bike is running perfectly. It
picks up much more quickly from a constant throttle, it feels much smoother,
it even sounds better, thanks again.

Regards,

Iain

Return to topHonda Blackbird - Tim Livesey

I have a Blackbird that has had lots of tuning work carried out on it, and it was showing signs of loosing power and wasnt smooth when cruising. A friend whos son races bikes recomended Andy at Junction 33. So I booked it in and turned up on the day, Andy proved to be friendly and professional and as he found and fixed 3 seperate problems in the airbox/carbs I was very pleased with the end result. Ive had my bike to 4 different dyno centers and Junction 33 has provided me the best service and at a reasonable price. So much so that before I left I made a booking for my other bike a Moto Guzzi California.

Return to topThunderace - Scott Marsden

Thanks for the tuning job on my Thunderace on Monday its running like a dream now a lot better and more responsive

Hi Andy, Thanx for all your help in sorting out a problem with my bike which
BMW them selves could not sort out, it rides the way it should of done when
i picked it up from the shop, its now smooth all the way from bottom to top
of the rev range, and can now be rode in 6th anywhere even enjoyed my ride

Karl.

Return to topKawasaki Z1 900 - David Knott

Would like to say I was delighted with your excellent service bike Z1 900 running just as it should thanking you Dave.

Return to topAprilia Tuono - James Kerwick

Hello Andy

The bike is running great. I think the error light was down to the lamda
control unit. When I removed this and refitted the lambda unit the error
light went, it came back on refitting the control unit. With the lambda
connected the fuelling is unaffected as the bike is on map2, so there are no
problems overall.

Cheers

James

Return to topYamaha R1 - Andy Ord

Thanks again Andy for re-mapping my bike, low down power is definitely noticeable and the midrange is loads better. Top Job

Hi Andy

Return to topKawasaki ZX10R - R Booth

Hi Andy.

Thanks for your excellent work in fitting the GiPro and Mapping the Power Commander on my ZX10R.

In terms of the results, what can I say, except .....................Holy Brown-stuff.........what a difference !

The bike is much more responsive in all gears and is so much smoother too. No more popping on the run-down and it pulls so much harder through the rev range, I thought someone had fitted Nitrous !!!

I brought the bike to you, following numerous reccommendations from fellow bikers..................they weren't wrong !!

Cheers once again.

Rob

Return to topHonda CBR1000 RR - Mark Wainwright

Hi Andy,
Mark here sorry ive not been in touch since you did my bike but ive not really had chance to use it, but i want to thank you for doing such a great job on her, it is so smooth and a hell of a lot faster, i noticed i have to use less throttle to get the same effect as before, i had to actually slow my self down on the way home, Bloody awesome. and you seem to have sorted the jerkiness often found Honda fuelling. excellent.

Return to topGSR 600 - Dale Charnock, Lancashire

Hi Andy

sorry for the late reply - just to let you know - since you supplied & fitted the PCIII to my Suzuki GSR 600 and modified the airbox to allow better flow - the bike is much smoother and VERY much more lively at high throttle openings - I\'ll have to book in on a \'controlling wheelies\' course now !!!

Return to topBandit 600 - Bryan Rackstraw

Dear Andy,
thankyou for doing such a good job with the fitment and setting up of the mikuni RS 34mm flatslide carbs to my bandit. It runs smooth and the acceleration feels relentless, I cannot stop smiling when riding the bike.
Regards Bryan.

Return to topGSXR 750 Track Bike - James Kerwick

Hello Andy

Just to let you know how the gixxer performed after the remap and Akra can.

The bike now pulls like a train, the low down improvement is astounding. The full system and ignition module is now a must do mod, so just let me know a price and I can start saving.

Cheers

James

Return to topCB750 /Triumph Trophy - Steve

Andy, many thanks for the work you carried out on my 30 year old cb750/4, brought to you with very neglected carbs. You very quickly diagnosed the extent of the problem, explained in full and clear detail what you could do. The bike ran faultlessly on return, started first time every time with impressive gains in power and smoothness.
However, it has to be my Trophy 900 which is the latest "triumph". Once again, quickly diagnosed, clearly explained, you have set this bike up with meticulous professionalism. Precise, crisp, immediate throttle response combined with substantial power gains delivered through accuratley balanced fuelling. Transformation! fuel consumption appears much better too. Keep up the great work. Hope to see you in the spring for exhausts...
Steve

Return to topHonda CB750 Hard Tail Chop - Eddie Moore

Hi Andy - just a quick word to thank you for the work you've done on my chop - the ignition system has made no end of improvement! For anyone reading these comments - this guy really puts himself out for you - does a fantastic job an even gives you a lift home when you need it!

Return to topCBR 1000RR - Steve Ohler, Preston

Just to say thanks for the great job you did on my bike. I didn\'t realise you you could improve so much by custom mapping it, especially given that the bike runs as standard other than a K+N air filter. I don\'t know where you found the 7bhp without at least fitting an aftermarket can!!
Smooth, responsive, more midrange, more lower down and better fuel economy! Thanks again

Return to topYamaha FZ1 - Darren Crook

Well what can I say. A whole new bikin experience, never in my life did I feel a bike could respond in power like this one does, Andy you are mint the bike is so quick the low down grunt picks up so smooth it just flies I can ride round in top gear without a problem changing. The bike is how Yamaha should of made it. Being a rep with wurth I know how quailty counts and this is quality. Such a dream to ride cant keep off the saddle. Many many thanks for what you have acheived with my bike. I will past it on to everyone I know in the bike world its a job really worth doing. Cheers

Return to topYamaha Thunderace - Alan Muir

I just want to let you know that the bike was a completely different animal to the one I rode to you in the morning! Power delivery is now much stronger and linear low and midrange than it was before. It was an interesting time, I was very impressed with your attention to detail and how you found that misalignment with the airbox.

Thanks again

Alan

Return to topHonda X11 - Peter Gibbons

Andy, the X11 is running as well as you said it would and the difference is noticable, thanks again for the patience shown and the attention to detail.I consider it money well spent .

Return to topTriumph 1050 Speed Triple - Iain Strong

Hi Andy,
Just a quick note to thank you for the excellent job you did of improving the fuelling on my Triumph 1050 Speed Triple.
Using Tuneboy
The mid range on the bike is way stronger than before and it really kicks hard above 8K revs.
Many Thanks

Return to topDucati 748 Power Commander + Custom Map - Mark Burns

Thanks for doing a great job on ducati 748, running a lot smoother. Top class job !!

Return to topHonda VT 750 Shadow - Paul Swarbrick

Thanks Andy,
The bike was just as you described it would be. That additional 10 ft lbs of torque was really noticeable and she now pulls like a train, and very smooth with it. The gear range is now totally different and allows me to run the bike in 3rd or 4th at low revs and when I crank her back she responds without the need to drop a cog or two. Similarly I am able to safely overtake in 5th when at 50 mph whereas before I would pull out and have to drop down the box for her to pull quickly pass. Basically the bikes now feels like it has the right power unit rather than being underpowered before, oh yeah there appears to be no loss to the top end speed either - I took her on the M55 and she tops out just over 90 mph which is more than enough.

Return to topCB1300S - Tim Harris

Hi Andy,

Thought I would drop you some feedback on my bike since getting it all setup on your Dyno.
It is pulling like a train, really improved the torque, throttle response and the 3rd and 4th gear flat spots, gone and been replaced with a bag of acceleration. It is also giving around 150 to a tank, that is up around 20 miles.
A mate on his SP2 on a recent tour was having trouble staying with me rolling on from around 60mph in 5th, that is excellent!! If abused, it even lifts the front with my fat ass on it, no mean feat J

I am one happy biker, money well spent.

All the best,

Tim Harris

Return to topGSXR 750 K7 - Phil Pritchard

My GSXR750K7 was very snatchy on initial throttle opening and also hunted on steady, partial throttle opening.
After fitment of a PCIII and full mapping to a K&N filter and Arrow slip-can; the bike now has a perfectly smooth throttle response from initial opening onwards.
Can't recommend Andy more highly!

Return to topGSXR 1000 K6 Power Commander/Map - Paul Jeffrey

Hi Andy,
Well pleased with the re-map of my GSXR1000K6, have a RACEFIT GROWLER fitted so no exhaust valve and can now take bike down to 15 mph in top and it pulls smoothly now,
Saving up for Ignition Module to fit a Quickshifter,
Much appreciated,
Paul

Return to top Yamaha WR450 2006 - Ian West

Hi Andy – just got to say – this is brilliant !
This is the most fun I ever had on a bike bar none
it’s so easy to ride now & act like a complete hooligan that it feels like you’re cheating.
I honestly don’t see how a bike could ever get any better than this J
(not unless you can make it do 120 as well)

Many thx. ian

Return to topTriumph Rocket 3 Supercharged - Nigel Corbey

Hi Andy,
I would just like to thank you for sorting the stalling problem out with my Supercharged Triumph Rocket 3, the diffrance in handling and power is unbelevable. The dedication you showed making sure my bike was perfect was way passed being just an engine tuner, also a big thanks for getting the bike ready for when i needed it even if you did work till silly o/clock. Return to topBMW 1150 GS - Peter Duckworth

Hello Andy, just a quick update following your work an the BMW 1150 GS. Have replaced both injectors as you recommended and the difference is remarkable, smooth powerful the way it should have always been, with fuel consumption reduced from 35mpg to 45mpg. When the so called experts tell you there is no problem with your bike, ignore them and speak to this man!!
Can not thank you enough, Peter.

Return to topHayabusa Gen 2 ECU Remap - Wayne Reilly

Hi there Andy,
Just thought I would send you an email letting you know what I think of the remap work you did.
Didnt notice too much of a difference on the way home from your place after collecting my bike but I did take it easy due to wet roads,
But I finally got out for a ride today after getting sick of the weather, roads wern't the best what with leaves, mud and the wet but when I found some dry patches I gave it some, got to say to be honest the bike feels miles better except 3rd gear out of corners/roundabouts where the rear wheel likes to spin (didnt have this problem before/probably too much power, lol) but on the straights it flies, had a play with an old original unrestricted Busa(my mates) and I just left him behind something I could not do as easy before remap. So heres a big Thank You,
All the best Wayne

Return to topTriumph Daytona T955i ECU Remap - TopCat

Hi Andy

What can I say.... You are the man. The time you spent getting the bike mapped perfect is simply superb. You are a Tune ECU Wizard! The bike runs superb, the power delivery is smooth and no flat spots through the revs .

Thank you very much for the effort and time you have put in. And your pricing is very reasonable. I have already mentioned you to few of my friends and they are all gearing up to ride up north.

Once again thank you for the job well done and your hospitality.

Kind Regards

Return to topKawasaki ZX10 - Paul Stewart

Andy, I want to pass on my gratitude for your excellent fault finding and tuning skills that you done on the carburettors. A number of people looked and messed around with these previously but without much luck. Your web sites feedback forum was one of the reasons for choosing you, so hope this one also adds to your reputation. Once again thanks for everything, including the other bits and pieces you done that I have not mentioned...Oh and also for meeting me on your day off! P.S. The bike did not miss a beat during the 90 mile ride back home. Not bad after standing for 15 years!!

Thanks again

Return to topHonda VFR400 NC30 - Steve Moore

Hi Andy, I would like to thank you again for the work you did and the dyno results you achieved on my Honda vfr 400 nc30. IMPRESSIVE!
Before i brought the bike to you, it had a noticable lack of power in the mid-range rev\'s, and also fueling issues?
You were recommended to me by friends, so i then contacted you to descuss options of tuning. I was pleased with the knowledge/services available and more pleased with yourself for being such a bike enthusiast.. lol.
So after getting the bike back, it is now so responsive off the throttle, pulls really well right through the rev range. the bike even seems to sound Grunty and has a deep note from the K&N.. Every dry day ive been out riding, i have come back home \"buzzing and smiling.\"
The tune up and dyno was the last job of my nc30 rebuild, 100% money well spent. I will recommend you to others \"as others have done to me\"

Keep up the good work Andy, i look forward to meeting again.. Many many thanks, Steve moore

Return to topKawasaki ZX10R 2011 - Paul Wren

Return to topTrriumph 955i Speed Triple - Simon Rourke

Andy took my under performing Triumph 955i Speed Triple and transformed it. It was running very lean in low revs but now runs like a dream.
Many thanks Andy

Return to topVFR 750 - Pete Ellis

Hi Andy,
Pete, red Honda vfr 750cc (95)
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, on the start of my 150 mile return journey from you the heavens opened, so i headed straight down motorways and A roads getting home as soon as poss, so no chance to test out your work.
not been out on bike since, until a 280 mile run in wales with the Honda club on Tues 9/8/11,
the results were as you predicted, not much difference in engine smoothness when off throttle at low revs, (as you said v4 not as smooth as in line 4 when off throttle)
but the major improvement was found when trying to feed in a small amount of throttle when maneuvering slowly at roundabouts, traffic lights, or moving along in slow moving ques etc, the engine now comes in much smoother and on all 4 cylinders as opposed to before when it would come in all uneven and not smooth at all, and at times would even stall, unless you were giving it a handfull, which in turn required me to always be slipping the clutch on slow maneuvers, so a big improvement and much appreciated
Many Thanks Pete,

Return to topFreddie Spencer EVO - Steve Elliott

Andy....the bike is a flying machine since you sorted the carburation.....also I lowered the gearing as you recommended......wow....all that torque is making it a hell of a wild ride now....

Sorry not to get around to bringing you the TL 1000 powered 748...I will be in touch about it soon....

So thanks for your hard work on the Freddie Spencer EVO bike.....there is not many I would trust to work on my bikes....especially those Yoshi MJN's....

Hope you are doing OK and making some pictures of the Queen

Best Regards Andy.....

Steve Elliott.

Return to topTriumph Tiger 800XC - Dex

After Andy setup the bike on the dyno it felt better at all throttle openings and all revs than it ever had. It also had more power, everywhere, than it ever has.

Initially there was a slight tradeoff in fuel economy - My normal cruise is 6-6.5k in 6th Gear. I spend a lot of time there as 35 miles of my each way commute is on the motorway and there's another 15 miles each way on dual carriageway. Initially I lost about 5-8mpg over a whole tank. Remember though, the bike felt noticeably better, smoother, and more responsive everywhere.

Because of the mileage I do (600 miles weekly commute, bike has done over 10.5k since I bought it in March) I needed that fuel economy. So I spoke to Andy and we looked at the throttle/revs sites where I normally cruise. He then sent me an updated map with the fuelling leaned off slightly in those positions.

The end result is that I'm now back to a tank average of high 40s (remember, my average has always been low as I am either thrashing through town or cruising at 6-6.5k in top) but the throttle response and the way the bike pulls is noticeably improved.
